The Company

Bradley’s passion for fine motor cars started early in life at his father’s coachworks in West London where he would often be allowed to assist with bodywork repair of luxury and classic motor cars during the school summer holidays. His philosophy for his own company ‘BlueChip Detail’ is simple and emblazoned in Latin on his company logo: “Nulli Secundus” – “Second to None”. Bradley is often to be found travelling with noted cars to the most prestigious concours events, including the esteemed Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este on the shores of Lake Como in Italy, Goodwood’s ‘Festival of Speed’ Cartier “Style et Luxe”, Salon Prive and various UK and European motoring auctions by RM, Coys, Bonhams and Sotheby’s.

Concourse Winner

Aston Martin, Ferrari and Porsche owners club meetings also feature on Bradley’s list of attended and entered concours events, resulting in fiercely fought victories. His preparation and extensive detailing of the Porsche 2.7 Carrera RS ‘Best of Show’ Winner 2011 at the Porsche Owners Club of Great Britain Annual Concours at Cirencester Park and the Ferrari Owners Club Annual Concours, where cars he detailed triumphantly achieved two class wins along with the Ferrari 275 GTB/4 ‘Best of Show’ Winner 2011 at Heythrop Park, this victory was repeated again in 2012 with two class wins and ‘Best of Show’ with a Ferrari ‘SuperAmerica’ HGTC at Boughton House.

Bradley has also utilised his skills detailing cars for music video’s including the Aston Martin DB5 featured in the Robbie Williams ‘Millennium’ music video and has worked at the home of the British film industry ‘Pinewood Studios’. His detailed cars have also featured on the BBC’s ‘Top Gear’ including a fabulous Ferrari 288 GTO put through it’s paces around the track at Dunsfold Airfield in Surrey driven by the notorious ‘Stig’. Bradley’s work has graced the pages in a variety of notable motoring magazines and publications, including ‘Classic & Sports Car’, ‘Classic Cars’ and the coveted front cover and feature by Keith Bluemel (a leading Ferrari historian and consultant to the factory) in the Ferrari aficionado’s magazine the “Cavallino” (issue #186). ‘Octane’ magazine(Jan ’12) also featured one of Bradley’s many detailed F40, making the front cover and enclosed 13 page written article and stunning images to celebrate ’25 years of the Ferrari F40′.

An excerpt from November 2011 “Forza” magazine, written by Villa d’Este Concorso judge Winston Goodfellow, declared: “Another Ferrari I judged was an exquisite 1968 GTB/4 (s/n 10835), owned by Nigel Allen in the U.K. s/n 10835, was one of the finest four cams I have ever seen, with superb colours and great attention to detail, and beautifully walked the line between “original” and “over restored”. In one of the toughest classes (“Birth of a Supercar”) I’ve ever judged at any show, s/n 10835 finished just a single point behind the winning Alfa 33 Stradale that eventually took home “Best of Show”. Bradley prepared and detailed this fabulous Ferrari 275 GTB/4 for Villa d’Este Concours, Europe’s super-chic answer to Pebble Beach and was fortunate enough to attend the exclusive invitation-only event, where only 50 world-class cars are selected for judging.

The Specialist’s Specialist

Bradley’s one man specialist operation is always busy, single-handedly detailing over an estimated £21 million worth of motor cars within the past seven months (July ’11- Jan ’12), to date he has still been unable to find an employee able to reach his own level of perfection for BlueChip’s list of loyal private clientele. It’s no wonder that Bradley’s experience, knowledge and in-depth understanding of the top marques has lead him to be selected by and to form close relationships with globally renowned specialists, DK Engineering (‘The Ferrari Specialists’), Josh Sadlers ‘Autofarm’ (‘Purely Porsche’ since 1973), Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Sunningdale (Sytner Group), Slades Garage (Est.1922), SuperVettura (Official UK Dealer for Koenigsegg) and Graeme Hunt in Kensington. A quote given by James Cottingham – Europe’s leading Ferrari F-Car specialist at DK Engineering – read: “I am happy to endorse Bradley’s vast experience, knowledge and understanding of these marques and only have praise for his skill and enthusiasm.” As you will see for yourself in Bradley’s ‘Portfolio’, the results of his detailing work are truly breathtaking.
